APEI is a professional association recognised by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). It brings together the leading independent experts who issue fairness opinions.

It brings together the main financial experts who issue fairness opinions. An independent expert is a person appointed by a company to give an opinion on the fairness of a financial transaction – public offer, public buyout offer, public tender offer, public exchange offer or public share buyback offer – within the meaning of the AMF’s General Regulations.

To apply to the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) for the recognition provided for in article 263-8 of the AMF’s General Regulations and, to this end, to acquire the resources and perform the tasks provided for in the said Regulations.
